Back at it..........
I don't know if I should celebrate or cry. Tonight is my first night back in patient care at work after being off for a year and a half. I really want to celebrate being over the shoulder ordeal, and of course having an income again will help, but at the same time, here comes the sleepless nights. This part, I'm not sure I am ready for! I worked most of a shift last weekend just trying to get caught up on paperwork, competencies and modules, but it was not much pressure. I just hid in a quiet room and did my own thing. Tonight is the real deal! I feel like I am starting a new job, butterflies in the tummy and all! WOW, I sure hope I can remember how to be a labor and delivery nurse!

Hi Nancy - It's Kristin Norris - it's been too long!!! I've connected with Valerie on her blog and noticed your link - I hope you don't mind! You're kids have all grown up - isn't it amazing what it has happened so fast! We baptized Kayleen, our baby this last summer and Sunday Robby, my second gets the priesthood! Anyway good luck getting back into the swing of things!!

Oh Nanc- I feel for you! I was off for 7 months while I was pregnant and moving, and it was a bear to go back. Just try to remember to do that best YOU can do and don't be afraid to ask for help! You and Nancy G. were 2 of the very best nurses I have ever known, I'm sure you'll do awesome!
