1. Do you acknowledge yourself to be a sinner in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope save in His sovereign mercy?
2. Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and Savior of sinners, and do you received and rest upon Him alone for salvation as He is offered in the Gospel?
3. Do you now resolve, and promise, in humble reliance upon the grace of the Holy Spirit, that you will endeavor to live as becomes the followers of Christ?
I answered in the affirmative and then had a Trinitarian baptism, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. I will remember this day for the remainder of my life.
Thank you to all those who had a part of my journey, who support me, love me and have walked and will continue to walk with me in my faith journey.
Don't ever forget what one small and simple act of faith can lead to... Thank you Brad!
In addition to being baptized Sunday, I also decided I wanted to become a member of Ridge Presbyterian Church. This is NOT part of being baptized. It is a separate commitment. Thank you to my new church family for welcoming me with open arms. I'm honored to be counted as one of you.
