We love little watermelon faces
The smoke has been much better and it feels like summer. The kids have had fun at the pool, having slumber parties with cousins, staying up late, sleeping in (Melissa still doesn't know what that is), eating watermelon, playing in the sand and having picnics. It has been a fun couple weeks.
It has been a little quieter around here because Grandma Susan has been taking the kids one at a time to stay at her house for a few days. Jared is gone now, and I'm sure being spoiled with the one on one time with Grandma. I think it is good to have that time and build a closer relationship with Grandparents. I am grateful she is willing to do that for them. Zach went last week and from what I hear was quite a help. Gardening, cleaning cars, etc. Why is it they are always willing to do more away from home? Zach left today to go to youth conference, so just Andrew and the girls are home, what a different feeling it is when just one child is gone, but with two gone, it is almost too quiet! I guess I should enjoy it, because with school starting in just a couple weeks, the craziness will also begin. Go taxi mom!
