Andrew turns the big 13!!!!

Well, it's official, we now have TWO TEENAGERS. Andrew turned 13 last Friday!!!!

For a fun time, we went to Paradise Lake for a fun time fishing, biking and picnicing.

As luck would have it, as we were getting ready to leave, I grabbed the wheelchair and began to pull Jared back from the water's edge. I slipped, tipped my son out of his chair and watched the entire wheelchair sink into the lake. Poor Jared was traumatized (again), but there was some humor involved in my special abilities. Gosh....the adventures never end.

We ended the day with a yummy BBQ tri tip dinner and family over for gifts, cake and ice cream. Andrew had asked for money this year, with the goal of saving enough to buy himself a new Ipod classic. The morning after his birthday, he walked into Costco and got exactly what he had been saving for. Congrats Andrew.
