Easter Sunday

This year was quite different than others. All three boys had been down in Folsom at Mark's moms house for a few days of spring break, so just he girls were home on Easter morning. We usually do the whole egg hunt, candy thing on Saturday, and focus on Jesus on Sunday, but it seemed weird with only 2 kids home. The girls woke up Sunday, surprised so find an easter basket on the fireplace hearth. They hunted eggs, then we got ready for church. The girls went to Paradise with me, where we had a wonderful church service. It truly is a celebration of Jesus. HE IS RISEN! (and......we got to sing my favorite song again, IN CHRIST ALONE!) ;-)

Later in the day, the boys came home, and we had family over for a huge meal! I'm still feeling full! One day I might learn that our family is NOT an army! We may be eating leftovers for an entire week!

Happy Easter to all! It's one day of the year, but we can celebrate HIS life each and every day, because HE LIVES!
