Yes, I caved, and let the girls both get their ears pierced. WOW! Melissa waited an extra week, but she did it, and not a tear from either one of them. Well, not a tear except from Mollie when it was Melissa's turn to sit in the chair. No, they weren't sympathy tears, they were tears of "I was seven, why does she get to get hers pierced now? " She wouldn't even look! We had several chats, reminding Mollie that she had the chance when she was younger, and always chickened out when the time came! They have since made up, and enjoy having matching ears!

The girls look lovely with their ears pierced! I too have let my girls have their ears pierced this year. I am taking hannah ( age 14) in a week to do hers for her bday.
